It's a good question. They've pretty much have always been ignored in the US by commercial radio. Even now the 2 classic rock stations in my city will play all the old school bands like Priest, Dio, Crue, Leppard, Cinderella, etc. even Twisted Sister...but never Maiden. Not even Run to the Hills. It sucks.
