Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

Here are the lyrics to it.

I try to call the Earth`s command
Desperation in my voice
I`m drifting way off course now
With very little choice

The loneliness is hard to bear
I try to calm my fear
Just hoping any second now
Some contact filters through

Desperation calls....
Signal back from Satellite
As my life flashes right in
front of me

Try again...must get through
Hear me now...
For I`ve very little time
Not much time...hear my call
Please get through...I am here

I`m stranded in space
I`m lost without a trace
I havn`t a chance of getting away

Too close to the Sun
I surely will burn
Like Icarus before me
Or so legend goes

I think of my life
Reliving my past
There`s nothing but wait
`til my time comes

I`ve had a good life
I`d do it again
Maybe I`ll come back
Some time afresh

For I have lived my life to the full
I have no regrets
But I wish I could talk to my family
To tell them one last goodbye

The Final Frontier...
The Final Frontier...

If I could survive
To live one more time
I wouldn`t be changing
A thing at all

Done more in my life
Than some do in ten
I`d go back and do it
All over again

For I have lived my life to the full
I have no regrets
But I wish I could talk to my family
To tell them one last goodbye

The Final Frontier...
The Final Frontier...

There isn`t much time
Must say my last rites
Nobody is here to
Read them to me

Must say my goodbyes
If only a time
A message to tell them
In case they might find...

For I have lived my life to the full
I have no regrets
But I wish I could talk to my family
To tell them one last goodbye

The Final Frontier...
The Final Frontier...

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

Where'd you find those Satellite 15 lyrics?

I'm expecting it to sound something like Planet Caravan by Sabbath.

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

By the description of reviews, it's heavy as fuck, but there's an arpeggiated part, so it might recalls Planet Caravan.

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

From someone off the Iron Maiden Fan Club. They have the cover art including the lyrics and posted those lyrics.

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

That would be sweet if they would post the rest of the album. Any chance of it?
Also, do you mean the cover art that's in my signature? If so, did they post a better pic of it?

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

I think he means someone has the single, and posted the artwork and lyrics for the single, which for some reason included Satellite 15.

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

No, I'm talking about the whole album. There's a picture of it on here too. The one that you can't read anything off of. That was done on purpose. He has the lyrics to all of the songs but doesn't want to share.

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

Damn, asshole! There are a few collectors who have (and won't share) several rare songs recorded by The Darkness. There are assholes in every fanbase it would seem.

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

Here are some things he had to say

"I`ve read all the lyrics already. I can honestly say Bruce Dickinson is one of the best singers ever. If he can remember EVERY lyric to these songs, along with remembering all the other Maiden songs, he`s simply a genious. Lyrically, these songs are very complex. I`ve just read the lyrics without hearing the music. For me, one would need to be either insane or a genious. I think Bruce may be both."

And this....

"do you want the lyrics?

Fiddy cent.

I could have easily not let anyone read them if I wanted. I don`t know everyone on this board. I only know a few people who I consider to be nice people and I`ve met them in person. Why should let I let everyone who wants to see them, see them? Would you let me see them if you had them and I didn`t? I don`t know you from Adam, so I wouldn`t expect you to let me see them."

He also posted 2 verses from starblind and I would share it with you if I knew how to use the little spoiler thing.[

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

You don't need them in a spoiler. Dhmaiden didn't use a spoiler. But if you want to use a spoiler, just click the spoiler button and put the lyrics between the tags like this:
put the lyrics here
Quote me and you'll see what I mean.
And to answer his question. Yes I would let him see them if I didn't know him. I would let everyone see them.

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

I am dhmaiden. haha. I just quoted what the guy with the lyrics said. But if you don't need spoilers than okay.
Here are 2 verses from Starblind:

Take my eyes the things I`ve seen
In this world coming to an end
My reflection fades. I`m weary
Of these earthly bones and skin

You may pass through me and
Leave no trace I have
no mortal face
Solar winds are whispering
You may hear me call

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

Oh, those are sweet!

BTW, thank you VERY much Dhmaiden! I think I'll start a thread for the song since we have some lyrics. Of course, I'll give you credit. :)

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

hey dh, could you ask the guy if there are any lyrics to the effect of "House of lords is a house of cards..." there was a line from posted by a reliable source on the official forum who wouldn't say what song it was. I don't remember the whole line, if I did i would post the whole thing. By looking at the reviews i'm thinking the line may be from Mother of Mercy. I just want to know if they are real so if he could at least  verify that would be nice

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

Those lines are "...the house of lords swiftly turned into a house of cards, blown away in this illusive world, a sinful state of decay..."

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

"the house of lords swiftly turned into a house of cards, blown away in this illusive world, a sinful state of decay" A line from Where The Wild Wind Blows? It sounds like it has to do with nuclear fallout

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

I feel something more mystical about it, perhaps from Starblind as it smells Bruce lyricism, to me.

Re: Satellite 15....The Final Frontier

Hard to tell with just two paragraphs...but yes. It feels very, very Bruce.
