Once again they say these are the final shows until at least 2028. I don’t like the wording.
Japan indeed get the final shows of the tour. Two nights in Yokohama.

Is this a leak? Because it's not on any official posts. The Japan shows are all that's confirmed right now.
Their future plans might be undecided. But no way they will end their career with a small show in Japan.I am beginning to doubt there will be any Maiden tours after the current one.
And that would be alright by me. All good things eventually come to an end. 50 years is a fantastic run.I am beginning to doubt there will be any Maiden tours after the current one.

Rod holding back the Australian and New Zealand dates to spite the promoter.Bafflingly Japan announced on official site but nothing else confirmed yet, very odd.
I think going out on an album tour could be viewed as a very Maiden way to go out. Playing new songs, being creative, the challenge that Steve often talks about, end as they began.Maybe they won't do album tour and then farewell tour, vibe doesn't seem that way. I'm starting to believe that when they come back in 2028, their album tour would be their farewell tour. It's very unmaiden way to do it, but it seems to be that way.

Promoter is TEG DAINTY, they have a cool video advert for the Maiden 2026 tour already on Facebook but it doesn't seem to include the exact tour dates! Mad.Rod holding back the Australian and New Zealand dates to spite the promoter.
“Further countries for the Run For Your Lives Tour will be officially announced shortly.”
Why? The way I see it, this is the confirmation Maiden will tour in 2028. If it just was a way to boost tickets sales they wouldn't specify they year (as they were doing before).
Also, let's face it: the 2028 tour is probably already in the making, especially if it's the last one.
Why do you think that? I would say it's the opposite, namely confirmation that they will continue in 2028.
I was just about to write that now we know that.
Teg Dainty might be the most Aussie name ever.Promoter is TEG DAINTY, they have a cool video advert for the Maiden 2026 tour already on Facebook but it doesn't seem to include the exact tour dates! Mad.
I don't want them to end up like Priest or The Who. Trundling on with an ever diminishing line-up of original members until all we have left is Bruce, Steve and a bunch of hired guns.I wholeheartedly agree. It would also be an excellent tour to say goodbye.
That its true. Steve and bruce and the rest of the band new at their nearly 70s is absurd. But i think they can do a couple of tours more.I don't want them to end up like Priest or The Who. If Knebworth is the last time I see them I can live with that.
If, God forbid, something happens, then these will be their final shows ever.A whole year off at their age is a very long time. Also, the "at least until 2028" makes it sound like the break might be even longer!
