News Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Tony Moore in support. Absolutely love it, our Steve is doin right by his homies in their latter days, wee holiday for the lads
Steve seems to be good friends with Tony Moore these days, he has taken him out as support for multiple British Lion tours, now Eddfest and this little jolly. He seems like a decent bloke! His act is... unusual.

A whole year off at their age is a very long time. Also, the "at least until 2028" makes it sound like the break might be even longer!

That's just advertising jargon to make people feel like they have to buy, because otherwise there might not be another opportunity for a very, very long time.

I don't want them to end up like Priest or The Who. Trundling on with an ever diminishing line-up of original members until all we have left is Bruce, Steve and a bunch of hired guns.

If Knebworth is the last time I see them I can live with that.
Re Priest, I think that comparison is a stretch. Scott Travis has been there for 36 years, Ritchie for 15 years. The only hired gun is Andy. (to be fair, if KK would have stopped being a douche in time, and the rest of the band could get over things, having KK over Andy would have been fantastic).

We mean that judas priest sound is kkdowning and glen tipton. That is judas with halford and scot and ian. So its good to see them doing records? Yes but its not thr same but that doestn mean that is not good. Check the Gnr show i posted of thr chinese demovracy era. Superb show with ( for me) better musicians than thr original

I hope they tour again after this , yeah i would like a changed up setlist but if they still sound good and are all well in 2028 then no way i want this to be the end of the road.

With this latest statement, I'm more optimistic about the future too. Why would they even offer the idea of further tours "until at least 2028" if there wasn't a chance of that happening? They have obviously not decided, and there's still a possibilty there won't be any more shows if age shows its ugly face during the second leg (at least in the capacity we are used to), but to me, the pendulum just took another direction.
