Based on your experience as a manager? There's no time to waste on waiting.
Yeah, 2 shows in their best markets are something which they should be ashamed of.too many dates in the same cities.
No, I'm not the manager, of course! But - looking at the sales this year, some venues are too big...Based on your experience as a manager?

They don't. All these supposed sales numbers are from a "trust me bro" source. How do people know about Knebworth sales?
I'm aware of those words from Rod, but the question is about the sales. Bigger venues = more expensive tickets and the expectation that the band will attract more people. It's hard to think about 10k people at a 50k capacity stadium as a success. 2026 showed us all that filling big venues around the world isn't so easy.
More than that. It's clear it's selling below their expectations. They have targeted ads online, they keep promoting the show on their social profiles, they've put on sale VIP tickets are after saying they wouldn't, camping options should've sell out in seconds according to the press release and after months they're still available. They don't. What sales? This year tour is a success, minus a couple of shows here and there.but the question is about the sales.
It wouldn't be a success, but no band plays to 10k people in a 50k cap stadium. Surely not Maiden. So I don't see how this has anything to do with Maiden. It's hard to think about 10k people at a 50k capacity stadium as a success.
Knebworth is an enormous venue with a capacity of 125k. Even 40k here is a poor result. Maiden should be booked as the headliner of Download Festival. 50 Year Anniversary and their 9th headlining at Donington! On the other side, even Knebworth could be successful if they organized a Very Special Event with real attractions. For example, a special setlist just for this night (!) with a break to present a part of the documentary, and maybe past members of the band. 150 min show in two parts with 30 min break would be something special.More than that. It doesn't mean it's going to be a total flop, because the venue is enormous, but it's surely not selling good or as they expected.
How exactly a different setlist would make the show a success?Knebworth is an enormous venue with a capacity of 125k. Even 40k here is a poor result. A setlist with many unexpected songs played only at Knebworth could attract more people than the same show and setlist as a year ago. To me, it's obvious. How exactly a different setlist would make the show a success?

Yeah, they would surely be happy with that couple of thousands (at most) they could sell by doing that@ShadowOfTheGods come on, you've got to admit that he's got a point. Even if they kept all the songs in the current setlist and just added 3-4 deep cuts would be a massive event for Maidenheads around the world.
So, what should they do to attract more people? Some propositions, ideas?Yeah, they would surely be happy with that couple of thousands (at most) they could sell by doing that
Oh come on, I sually disagree with him, but now you're just saying shit to prove your point when you've clearly lost the argument.Yeah, they would surely be happy with that couple of thousands (at most) they could sell by doing that
You're right, changing/adding a couple of songs is going to make sales skyrocket.but now you're just saying shit to prove your point when you've clearly lost the argument.

Anyway, we will see how the tour did at the end of the year. Now, even on markets such as LATAM, the sales aren't as good as we could expect. I don't wanna think what would happen if the SAm. organizers announce a Metallica tour planned for September (some rumours). You're right, changing/adding a couple of songs is going to make sales skyrocket.
No, it wouldn't. Either the show is selling good enough and it doesn't need any boost or it's selling poorly, and adding/changing 4 songs (especially 4 deep cuts) wouldn't make the sales go from 30k to 80k.And yes, 3-4 deep cuts would have made a difference.
