Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

As for me, I find it extremely unlikely that they would announce that there will still be other countries and not announce them.
And on the contrary, I actually hope the band raises the bar, plays bigger venues, and not smaller or more intimate ones.

They will. This is Rod's comment about the last leg.

I'm aware of those words from Rod, but the question is about the sales. Bigger venues = more expensive tickets and the expectation that the band will attract more people. It's hard to think about 10k people at a 50k capacity stadium as a success. 2026 showed us all that filling big venues around the world isn't so easy.

They don't. All these supposed sales numbers are from a "trust me bro" source.
More than that. It's clear it's selling below their expectations. They have targeted ads online, they keep promoting the show on their social profiles, they've put on sale VIP tickets are after saying they wouldn't, camping options should've sell out in seconds according to the press release and after months they're still available.

It doesn't mean it's going to be a total flop, because the venue is enormous, but it's surely not selling good or as they expected.

but the question is about the sales.
What sales? This year tour is a success, minus a couple of shows here and there.

It wouldn't be a success, but no band plays to 10k people in a 50k cap stadium. Surely not Maiden. So I don't see how this has anything to do with Maiden.

Knebworth is an enormous venue with a capacity of 125k. Even 40k here is a poor result. Maiden should be booked as the headliner of Download Festival. 50 Year Anniversary and their 9th headlining at Donington! On the other side, even Knebworth could be successful if they organized a Very Special Event with real attractions. For example, a special setlist just for this night (!) with a break to present a part of the documentary, and maybe past members of the band. 150 min show in two parts with 30 min break would be something special.

How exactly a different setlist would make the show a success?

A setlist with many unexpected songs played only at Knebworth could attract more people than the same show and setlist as a year ago. To me, it's obvious.

@ShadowOfTheGods come on, you've got to admit that he's got a point. Even if they kept all the songs in the current setlist and just added 3-4 deep cuts would be a massive event for Maidenheads around the world.

You're right, changing/adding a couple of songs is going to make sales skyrocket.
Anyway, we will see how the tour did at the end of the year. Now, even on markets such as LATAM, the sales aren't as good as we could expect. I don't wanna think what would happen if the SAm. organizers announce a Metallica tour planned for September (some rumours).

Simply announcing a "unique, one-of-a-kind show with a very special setlist" or whatever PR speak you could use would probably make people who otherwise aren't interested in Knebworth reconsider, even if it ended up that all they did was play a few rarities as one-offs. The bigger issue however is obviously the support acts - I dunno what the hell they were thinking but they should've courted stronger names to actually make it a worthwhile package.
