I've analyzed the capacity of all 50 shows booked for 2026 so far. Theoretically, all venues (including festivals) can hold around 2 million people combined. It's the big number, especially if we realize Iron Maiden is going to announce even more shows in the other territories. I suppose the sales will increase mainly before the show days, but generally, my conclusion is that the management/organizers overestimated the demand for the band this time. After the overwhelming success of the 2025 leg, they probably expected the same reaction around the world, but the fans were not so enthusiastic this time. I think that if these 50 shows finally attract around 65% of the aforementioned "capacity", we would see 1.3 million attendees from a total of circa 2 million. That's not bad, but it could be significantly better if the sales went really well. Just my morning conclusion, nothing really special...
