The Darkness,
I think there's an element of metal fans being terrified that there might be some normal people at the gig.
Imagine young normal people at a Maiden gigI think there's an element of metal fans being terrified that there might be some normal people at the gig.
I can agree wtih anthrax....but megadeth??? Its ok dave doesnt move but they are 100% riff or guitar band. I enjoy that. The other day i saw helloween live and the thing that most amaze me was how they nail each riff and solos. The 3 of them. There's a lot of whinging about Anthrax and Megadeth should be on the bill, but are people really clamouring for them, or are they just asking for them because they've heard of them?
I'm a fan of both bands, seen Anthrax maybe 3 or 4 times (same set give or take every time going back to 2013 when I first saw them) and Megadeth probably 6 or 7 times (again bar one or two off whatever album they're touring, it's the same set every time) and both bands are extremely boring live acts.
They wouldn't be among names I'd be calling out to see added to the bill, and are both bands I've turned down getting tickets for in the past.

You clearly have no idea how ticket sales operate. I got my ticket on the day of the show, and where I was sat in the nosebleeds, there were plenty of empty seats. What are you talking about? The show officialy sold out in less than 2 weeks, then it was all production holds and stuff like that for months (and it was all gone way before the show anyway).
Cara, os números oficiais saíram nas plataformas de venda de ingressos.É evidente que você não tem a menor ideia de como funciona a venda de ingressos. Comprei meu ingresso no dia do show e, mesmo estando sentado lá no alto, havia vários lugares vazios.

69,500 is way short of the 80,000 capacity of the venue - which was my point.Cara, os números oficiais saíram nas plataformas de venda de ingressos.

Beyonce sold out London Stadium 2 nights 126k, 63k per night, Depeche Mode 65k sold out, Sam Fender 82k sell out. All depends on configuration of venue for gig. I will give benefit of doubt to Maiden, 69k+ good work. You clearly have no idea how ticket sales operate. If that was a sell out, it was the lowest sell out crowd in the venues history!
But let me guess, you think Maidens’s stage show is so much bigger than all other stadium acts and they couldn’t fit more in?
You sound like a fanboy who thinks your fave band is bigger than everyone else.

That is true. He cant sing like 90s anymore but as you say the band nails all the riffs. Ive seen megadeth 4 or 5 and its a band for not sing chorus ( a few) and listen. But i dont think that is boring. Anthrax .... i dont love the first albums with joey and i used to listen more white noise with the other singer (bush?) But its not a band that i like the most only songsAnthrax wipes out Megadeth live. Dave nails all the riffs and the band is amazing but his voice is not holding up well, Joey still has voice and still sounds top notch
I imagine we can guess, big attendance numbers, lots of casual fans quiet as a library until the classics are played. That’s Metallica live these days, not their fault ,Sad but True…I cannot wait to see the numbers for the Metallica gigs in July 2026.
