To be fair, this is probably Maiden’s first and last chance to step up into the stadium league in America.

For American fans, I hope it pays off as otherwise the band may be more inclined to neglect the US if the can only do arenas there in the future whilst most of the rest of the world allows them to play stadiums. I would say the same logic would apply to Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

In relation to Japan, it seems to be their weakest market these days. Odd, given how it took them so quickly and stuck with them during the 90s more so than some other markets.

Why do you say japan is their weakest market when all their shows are usually sold out.
 
Just got tickets for the 26th in Los Angeles. 463 dollars for two. Bloomin 83 dollars in fees. We aren’t used to this in the uk. Maiden clear;y going for the big bucks. It’s not a big stadium and it’s the only band I’d shell that out for but at the same time it’s pretty disappointing maiden sanctioning those prices. Before anyone says it’s the promoter and Ticketmaster ,maiden know how much tickets are and if I had their money I’d not be comfortable with charging these prices ,but guess I’m part of the problem as I’ve still bought tickets.the bmo isn’t a big stadium. It’s the size of the co op arena in Manchester.

8 shows would be added from August 15 to August 28…….Vancouver, Edmonton, Seattle, Denver would be in the card……..and more……"

BMO only has a capacity of around 22k for concerts, so yeah not overly large at all.
In the US we are used to paying service feels that high, TM totally rob us blind in that regard lol.

Arenas are still a pretty hefty rake. I don’t see “only” playing arenas as a barrier to touring. Different story altogether if they could only sell out large theaters or something…

As someone from the west coast I really am excited for this but also am annoyed that both maiden and rush announced east coast dates with no indication of a west coast date coming then announcing the extra dates, just announce the dates all at once.

Rumours... It would be nice to add some shows; fans are all about that, but if they don't announce the dates in the next two weeks, there's no chance. We'll see.
 
They won't announce anything, aside from maybe a 2nd show in Harrison or Boston.
It would make 0 sense for them. And, btw, if it's the guy who I think it is to say he has rumors, then you can sleep well: it's totally made up

I don’t recall Maiden ever doing that for North America. Europe have been dripfed dates on several tours though.
 
Hopped onto the general sale early today for Charlotte. Hate to say it folks. But lowerbowl and pit really did seem to go to the scalpers. Saw a couple (and I mean a couple) normal priced tickets in section 1 & 3 at the very back. Rest were up as resale, or on third party sites. Theres a dude trying to resell a bunch of Section 2 tickets for $1800 a pop lmfao. Watched a couple of his sell, to some poor goddamn chap or some poor goddamn idiot.
