RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

My opinion - Moonchild is the best opener song - the way the track builds up to an explosive intro for the band. Not many other Maiden tracks have that. Aces High a close second, and I'd be happy to hear it again provided Bruce's vocals are in good shape (possible but maybe not).
There are a lot of 'good' openers, but personally I think the best opening tracks are ones with a musical intro that allows the band to run out on stage for instant wow factor.. Pet peeves for me are when bands walk out on stage and it takes a minute to actually get into the song!
Personally I've never liked the intro tape into bang thing. The sound from the intro is always better than the live mix that follows, and it's a bit one dimensional when almost EVERY tour starts like that.

It’s possible with Maiden getting up there in years that they might go for a set closer to 90 minutes or so. Depending on the lengths of the songs they play, could they fit 15 or 16 in that amount?

It's still my bet for the opening too. The tour is more and more screaming Killers and the early days. Prowler, Wrathchild and Phantom are the others likely ones to be the opener. Let's see what we get tomorrow

Someone just leaked it on Reddit, taken from a photo of the setlist taped to the stage tonight.

Aces High
Wrathchild
Two Minutes
Madness
TNOTB
Heaven Can Wait
Sign of the Cross
Clansman
Evil
Fear of the Dark
Hallowed
Trooper
RTTH
Iron Maiden
Encore : Wrathchild (again)

Not really, but you guys can’t possibly be disappointed now after considering the possibility of sitting through that fucking pathetic setlist.

Can we stop with the baseless unsubstantiated rumour ffs.
Nothing I said was a baseless unsubstantiated rumor. The band has spoken of his desire to spend more time with his family. I don't know Dave personally so I can't verify if that's fact or fiction but it has been reported.

Except we know that these don’t fit the theme of the tour.
Funnily enough, if that were the setlist, I’d go and enjoy it if it came to Perth. I’m just glad that isn’t it.

I hope that what was heard on rehearsals is wrong and I'm wishing you all a great time tomorrow night, see you there!
Anyone can say i know someone who knows someone who knows someone who heard these songs in rehearsals , trust my source bro.
This happens every year and no "leaked" source has ever been fully right.

Tho I am curious about those videos that kept being deleted on the official FC forums

Nothing I said was a baseless unsubstantiated rumor. The band has spoken of his desire to spend more time with his grandchildren.

From fan fiction about “Dave wants to be with his grandchild instead of on tour” to “The band has spoken about Dave and his grandchildren”.
Some fans simply ignore what really comes across from the band, e.g. in interviews. And that's quite clearly that they want to continue with Maiden as long as they can, but they are cautious because nobody can predict the future, see Nicko.

Someone has tried and tried and tried to upload it to the official forum and nowhere else, sure...

To whoever starts the thread for when the tour begins:
Once the entire set list has posted, can you please edit your original post and put the set list there? That way we won’t have to wade through all of the other posts to see it. Thank you.

Bruce is moving forward with TMP 2. Adrian is two albums in with Ritchie Kotzen. Dave has wanted to retire for awhile now. Steve is going to be onstage or playing a pub somewhere at 80, still machinegunning the front rows.
Mandrake Project wasnt well received by majority of IM fans

Smith/Kotzen is a good project but their latest album sounded more like a kotzen album featuring smith.

Dave Murray retirement is bs honestly. People should stop spreading this bc is baseless. Plus, Dave still looks happy to keep touring with the band (at least it looks like on video messages he recorded in the last tours).

British Lion will continue after IM, its Steves plan B that will become A at some point.

I swear there's always one. No matter what forum, subject or genre there's always that one who decides to start some BS that amounts to nothing.

Do me a favor; just block or ignore me. I don't know you to argue with you, especially when you're misquoting me.

We're on the cusp of what promises to be a great tour by our favorite band, people are anxious and excited, and YOU decide to play Forum Truth Cop. AND have the audacity to be wrong! Jeezus.

So anyway; back to the tour. Won't be long now...
