Misspelling “goodbye” in the thumbnail? Showing Metallica that have nothing to do with this tour? Definite context clues that point to this being little more than the leavings of a male bovine.

Not that I think it's likely, but one thing I'd find pretty cool:

You know how the poster Eddie has various elements from previous designs? What if that one is used for the walking Eddie, while the big one is another mixture of previous designs, putting emphasis on elements not so much present in the poster one? So maybe more Powerslave/LAD/SIT/SSOASS than Killers?

^Interesting. They haven't used SIT Eddie as a big one since 1986. Or POM Eddie. The first 4 can be combined (NPFTD fits with them), but the next 4 is tricky, especially for a big Eddie. Not to mention FOTD Eddie.

If I remember correctly, the original one was an inflatable abomination based on the cover of the first album that was replaced by the POM one (heavily based on what they used on the GMETID tour).

Oh yeah. Using the same big Eddies for two History/Hits tours (almost back to back) wasn't cool. They could have used Killers or TNOTB, one unique. But I don't think the debut one was that bad. At least it's the better idea and after the previous Hits tour.

Fear of the Dark Eddie would be cool as a background for the song.

That would be quite the prop. Bring it on!
