THat its not true. The only song anticipated was wildest dreams during give me ed tour. And the reason was that it was leaked. I dont belive. Word about that.

New song? Or him playing and old song

I don't recall Wildest Dreams being leaked. Certainly a boot of the first night of the tour went viral, but I don't recall a studio version ever being leaked.

I was at Donington which was one of the very early gigs on that tour, and even then Wildest Dreams wasn't even that well known by people in the crowd, even though a recording was out there.

Today, if something similar had happened, the whole crowd would be singing it at the second nights gig.

EDIT: and definitely there would be youtube videos of acoustic versions and tab etc. the following day

And when have they been known to go into a studio to record one track, and if it had even happened, what are the chances of Maiden nerds not having discovered something about it?

It might have been plausible to say Maiden are going to release a video clip of Wrathchild or Trooper from the rehearsal room, but I still don't think they would have the inclination to do so. And in the age of hot takes, what would they have to gain by doing so?

This could have been fun if the tour theme was different. They won't release something with Simon before the tour (and I'm not talking about a rehearsal). Maybe for a potential 3rd leg. Playing new song during a different tour is appealing to the band, I guess they would have done that in 2020 with TWOTW. I wish it was true though, I want new material the most. I think it's possible for them to record one song in secret. Oh, well.

Twotw was part of the tour. The album was out so they needed to play something of the record. Was weird because of covid but it was like first half of the tour. In 2003 they played wildest dreams someone said that was played first in a show but remember that was leaked. And then when DOD came out was leaked a week before
THey havent recorded anything. Thats my guess
