But the songs were chosen by Bruce, am i right?
I am sure Rod and Bruce remember things differently, so who knows?

IM not sure that rod have a opinion of what they are going to play.I am sure Rod and Bruce remember things differently, so who knows?
FTFY.I’d pay good money to have his microphone muted during the instrumental part oftheany song!
It's time for RTTH to be played in the main set again. Just swap places with the likes of BYD. Or 2 Minutes again. After the last few tours it would be good for Bruce. Others? Clairvoyant?Running Free as a closer would be good for Bruce. Have RTTH in the main set.
You have a point, I like them especially live, but they were played a lot and after such a long break, I think maybe they won't bring them back. Something different. Maybe just one of them, two is a bit of a setlist waste now, potential deep cuts in their places. And they're not like the big classics. I prefer Wrathchild to them, although all work very well live.I’d be very surprised if those songs do not get played on a tour covering the material up to 1992. They were live staples and should be fairly easy for Bruce.
If the set is 18 songs, it's a little different, but still.I have never understood the dislike for the two songs. They are great fun live.
It would be great for me, but does the band care for such stats? Bruce solo is different. It will be Wasting Love, its so far up on the streaming services.
Yeah, although the song was liked by the fans in 1999. FOTD songs are more popular. There is ZERO chance Tailgunner gets played. This is a greatest hits set.
And no, the line "Trace your way back fifty years" doesn't suddenly make the song more likely.
I don't see the connection? Songs like FTGGG or TOAC weren't popular live. They know their big popular songs, like every band since the early days. They choose their setlists, with some suggestions from Rod here and there. If Maiden weren’t interested in their most popular tracks, Legacy of the Beast or Run for Your Lives wouldn’t have happended.
Would love this actually!RUNNING FREE/SANCTUARY ROTATION - I think that would be fine. Playing extremely safe & doing something different (in the context of usual Maiden routine) at the same time..!
Be quick or be deadI don't care if they play RF and/or Sanctuary. Both of them are fun live. I just want them to play 16-17 songs if they are to include them too.
I'd actually like an encore of: Moonchild, Clairvoyant, Hallowed and one of RF/Sanctuary + a main set of 12 songs, that will include both Powerslave and Rime.
"RORTH-CHOW"Steve, obviously.![]()
Looks highly viable except I’d replace killers with die with your boots on, the trooper with evil that men do. Definitely think there’ll be a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 songs from Seventh Son. They legit haven’t touched that album in a while since 2014z Madness doesn’t count from TFPMy setlist options:
1. Introduction
2. Be Quick or be Dead
3. 2 Minutes to Midnight
4. Wrathchild
5. The Trooper
6. Infinite Dreams
7. Killers
8. Wasted Years
9. Powerslave
10. Rime of the Ancient Mariner
11. Bring Your Daughter...
12. Phantom of the Opera
13. Fear of the Dark
14. Hallowed be Thy Name
15. Iron Maiden
-----------------------------------
16. The Number of the Beast
17. Run to the Hills
18. Running Free
Approx. 110 min running time
Trooper will be for absolutely sure!Looks highly viable except I’d replace killers with die with your boots on, the trooper with evil that men do. Simon should/will play fast, but how fast Bruce and Adrian will wantI don't really care all too much what they open with, BUT they should play it fast as fuck so we notice some new energy in the band
The alchemist was played on that tour one of the worst of cw and gods of war from balls to picasso. Starchildren..Are you saying that song popularity had no influence on his decision? So, if Bruce had proposed that the band perform A Matter of Life and Death and The X Factor in full—just because they align thematically with war, religion, and hell—the rest of the band would have gone along with it without question? Bruce's Mandrake tour was basically a setlist performing the most popular Bruce solo songs on Spotify. Some people were surprised by Navigate the Seas of the Sun in the set, but it's like the third most streamed Bruce solo song. Others wanted Tattooed Millionaire stuff with they didn't play because of Z, but he wasn't there for the tour so why no TM songs? Because they are not popular enough, which you can tell by looking at - you guessed it - Spotify. It isn't the bible, but it makes it much easier for bands to see what songs work. Hell on Earth skyrocketed early on on streaming services and its no surprise it was used as the encore opener for FP tour.
Well said, that’s the most likely thing. Considering what you said, I’d predict something like this:The only albums that could feature with 3 songs are the debut album, Number, Powerslave and SSOASS imo. Most likely the debut and Number will get 3 each and then 2 off Powerslave and 2 off SSOASS. Then, max 2 songs off Killers, POM and FOTD and max 1 off NPFTD and SIT.
Very likely, I think 18 tracks would be too much, probably 17 + intro is enough. A great choice anyway.Well said, that’s the most likely thing. Considering what you said, I’d predict something like this:
1). Be Quick or be Dead
2). 2 Minutes to Midnight
3). Wrathchild
4). The Trooper
5). Prowler
6). Rime of the Ancient Mariner
7). Only the Good Die Young
8). Killers
9). Phantom of the Opera
10). Die With Your Boots On
11). Wasted Years
12). The Number of the Beast
13). Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter
14). Fear of the Dark
15). Iron Maiden
ENCORE
16). The Evil That Men Do
17). Run to the Hills
18). Hallowed Be Thy Name
Tbh the first 5 songs aren't mind blowing. I expect better after Bruce's interview, but in general all the songs you listed have a good chance. (maybe OTGDY isn't that likely)Well said, that’s the most likely thing. Considering what you said, I’d predict something like this:
