It can be easy to forget that the reunion era is now more than half the bands career!

Hoping that this is Bruce doing his usual dropping of hints. We know he's mentioned scrapping 90% of the current setlist for the next tour!

Yah, that's what I take from it. A third of their career is represented by this setlist, the rest comes later. Love it. Might get to hear Brave New World and Dance of Death again before the end.

I think Iron Maiden, The Trooper, Fear of the Dark is given at every tour. The Evil That Men Do surely will be featured on the next one. The rest can be changed. Also I have a feeling that they will stick with Wasted Years as a closer for the remaining few years. It works great, a bit emotional, and I see nothing wrong with having a dedicated closer. Like Paranoid were for Black Sabbath or Living After Midnight for Judas Priest.

I think it would make sense to do a tour featuring new songs (hopefully) and focusing more on the reunion.
Since it’s unusual for a band to focus solely on songs from a short period of time for their anniversary celebration.

Let's hope this is usual hinting from Bruce, it sounds like it. 2027 will be a break, but the next tour could indeed be Part 2 of RFYL - but mixed with new album songs and some classics. The Reunion era songs are longer, they may not cover all the albums like now (possible though), mixing two tours into one saves them time, but what could they potentially do after such a hybrid tour again? I'm not sure. They should have already talked about plans for next year and the future.

Something like: 5 new songs, 5-6 Reunion era songs, 4-5 classics (IM, Fear, Trooper, Evil) and some surprises (2-3 at most).

RFYL concpet was odd from the beginning anyway.

The hybrid somewhere in time senjutsu tour was weird but I loved it. Could never have guessed that's what they would have come up with. Hopefully something equally creative for next tour.

Would be nice and interesting for them to do a tour consisting of songs they simply want to play without commercial pressure but that seems very difficult for a big corporate machine like maiden.

Hopefully nothing too weird with this Pophouse thing...

Let's hope it is indeed a hint. But this could just as well simply mean that the current tour covers the beginning and that's it. Basically "we have a long history, this is only a part of it". That's not necessary a promise that the rest will be covered as well.

Listening to this show. The band sounds great,even simon except a weird thing he does in the slow part of infinite dreams.

And the stage in a dark and close venue looks great. Its a pitty than in europe the first 6 or 8 songs were during daylight.

Well, folks......looks like I will miss Maiden this tour. If I don't buy tickets when the first go on sale I will wait until we get closer to the show date as they always release tickets. I was planning to go to Charlotte but it seems the promoters are greedy bastards. The tickets, real good seats however, are $448 USD plus whatever else Ticketmaster tacks on. Standard admission price, not "Platinum" seats they say. That's insane. I paid less than half that for Future Past. Also, I don't think it's worth driving 3 hours and back for an inflated resale lawn ticket.

I hate to miss this tour but I can't justify it, not at this price. Maybe they will release some for a more resonable price but that's probably wishful thinking. I will just have to wait for the DVD, assuming they release the damn thing (where's the Future Past dvd, Rod?)

I always go for the lawn at Charlotte. It's surprisingly a great view and the sound is actually really good. I've been checking periodically and occasionally they release more lawn tickets for about 55 bucks. The reseller price, however, is double that. Just keep checking if you're interested.

If - IF - a RFYL Part Deux is the next logical step touring-wise for the band, a revamped setlist is going to be refreshing by a county mile, but my fingers are crossed haaaarrrrd that Infinite Dreams remains in the set. I know it's a major highlight right now for the deep divers like myself, but the the ends doesn't justify the means for me to book a ticket for either of their New Jersey appearances this coming weekend. Ah well, c'est la vie ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
