RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

It's always hard to judge a Maiden show right after, but this has been one of the best I have seen. Phenomenal. Best of the tour and best since Legacy of the Beast for me.
It is phenomenal indeed. The only sour note is Struggles High, which should've been Tailgunner, really.

With that swap, the show gets a 9.5/10 for me. As it is, it's an 7.5 or 8/10. Maybe a 10, due to the phenomenal productions in Rime and Hallowed. Even FOTD is very enjoyable on this tour for me, and I'm sick to death of it.

What´s lame about that?
It's in the same league as his "Scream for me".
Yeah you’re right - totally cliche and played out.

Just like he does the exact same arm waving schtick to get cheers during the instrumental part of Hallowed. It was cool in the early 2000s. Now it’s just lame and you know every beat of the show before he does it - just like going to a KISS show and that’s the same boring show every night for decades as well.

If he said scream for me two or three times during the show and actually meant it then that’s fine. Saying it constantly in the same places in every song every single night is Elvis going through the motions in Vegas or Ozzy saying “go crazy!” every thirty seconds. It’s lame.

Man, are we really going to pretend one of the most iconic phrases in metal, one which gets referenced by a bunch of other artists rather regularly, is "played out"? 99% of vocalists out there wish they had anything even resembling a catchphrase like that.

Same with the arm movements during Hallowed, that shit's awesome.

If these things are considered lame I don't even wanna know what's supposed to be cool anymore.

About spontaneity; I assume they have a click running to keep in sync with the screens. Maybe just on those songs with more complex visuals.
Hopefully that's all they use, but pitch correction would be tempting.

Bruce is really into wearing a metallic leather look lately. He's cool. Such a costume was expected for this tour. And he's keeping up with the tradition with ''noticeable'' trousers.

Dave likes Powerslave cover, well, who doesn't.

Nah, there's no way they'll use live pitch correction. I wouldn't worry about that.

They had already started using a click for count-ins with Nicko in the last years, now they use them to keep in time with the visuals. I'm wondering if that's one of the reasons there's less movement on the stage than usual (look at Janick for example). Maybe they're still getting used to playing like that.

Some footage from Slovakia with a visible screen. Why do Number and Rime have black&white footage?
I think that's just a combination of the angle and the camera quality. It looks b&w on the video, but probably was fine.

A few impressions from Bratislava:
The sound was great tonight (even better than Budapest2)and the band in top form. How lucky I am to see them in such a small arena. Smallest place for me since Virtual XI Tour in Paris.
Powerplave is absolutely massive, sounds so huge and tight, maybe the highlight of the tour so far with 7th son. Bruce had a few hearing problems at the beginning an end of the show, he asked for a higher mix.
Before the show started, Leana couldn't find her seat and went into the wrong row. She walks right in front of me, I asked for a selfie but she declined - she doesn't like pictures she said ahah.

Did you offer to use Photoshop? :ninja:
