I used to like the Turner stuff quite a bit, but it turned out to be too shallow for long-term appreciation, with the notable exception of Street of Dreams, which I still like a lot.

I know almost every single song and like them very much. Rainbow will always remain in my top 5 artists of all time. Something like your view of Queen.

I have Down to Earth, Difficult to Cure, Rising and Ritche Blackmore's Rainbow. Never really listened to the first two though, but the last two are superb (obviously!). I should probably listen to the others.

Check out Long Live Rock n Roll.  It's the last of the Dio records.  Not quite as good as Rising, but still worth knowing.  "Kill the King" in particular kicks ass.
