Somewhere Back In Time, Rosemont, IL, 6-11-08
The Final Frontier, Tinley Park, IL, 7-18-10
Maiden Engand, Tinley Park, IL, 7-05-12
Maiden England, Noblesville, IN, 7-19-12

The Noblesville, IN would have the be the best experience of the four, in my opinion. It was SBIT, as that setlist was just way too epic (especially for a first timer), and the Maiden England Chicago show was great, but our seats were so far to the right of the stage, it was practically a side-stage view (which the tickets/seat finder did not mention that at all!). In Noblesville, however, since I traveled there alone (my friends were content with just the Chicago show), I went all out and bought a pit ticket. And I was maybe 10-15 feet in front of the stage (the closest I had ever been to them)! And I caught Adrian Smith's armband! So definitely, the Noblesville concert was the greatest Maiden experience I have had yet.

I had prepared this in anticipation for the Boston gig:

I would say the 2010 Knebworth, 2008 Paris and 2012 Boston ones are the top three, but it's a close call. The only ones I'd consider sub-par were Dortmund 2006 and Ludwigshafen 2007, the former because the audience sucked and the latter because there were lots of little technical problems that obviously annoyed the band.

This upcoming Sunday, it will be 20 years ago when I first saw Iron Maiden.

The Final Frontier Tour - O2, London, England, 06-08-2011

The Final Frontier Tour - Detroit, MI, 7-17-10
Maiden England Tour - Noblesville, IN, 7-19-12

I'd say the Detroit show was probably my favorite of the two because it was my first time seeing the band after about 4 or 5 missed opportunities dating back to the Brave New World Tour. Another thing that I liked about that show was the setlist was heavy on the newer songs which are really what got me into the band in the first place.

I was until recently a Maiden live virgin:

Maiden England Tour - Albuquerque, NM, 8-12-12

It was a great experience, and I'm looking forward to at least a couple more before the boys call it quits.

I've only seen them three times.

I Liked Auburn Better, My Vancouver Seat was Right on the Side, All you Could see was Bruce and the Backdrop
In Auburn I got a VIP Box but Unfortunately we got Stuck with a Pot Smoker :( , The Lady Behind us in the Other VIP Boxes was Expecting Us to sit Down the Whole show. Funny.
Though I did Meet Nicko in Vancouver

My first Maiden gig was the Killers tour with Priest and Whitesnake in 07/81...on my birthday no less!
Then:
Beast on the Road Tour - in a small club - AWESOME!!
World Piece Tour
Powerslave Tour
Somewhere in Time Tour
Seventh Son Tour
Fear of the Dark tour
X Factor tour - in a small club
Maiden England - June 23 2012

In other words - I have seen them every time they have been to Atlanta...

Glasgow 2006
Donnington 2007
Knebworth 2010
Glasgow 2011
Aberdeen 2011

The Knebworth and Aberdeen shows were my favourites. The Glasgow shows were slightly disappointing because the venue sucks and the first time I got crushed seconds into 'Different World' and there was no atmosphere in 2011.

No Prayer on the Road 1991

03/08/11 - Odyssey Arena, Belfast, N. Ireland

My first show was 7th tour of a 7th tour, August 2 1988, UNO Lakefront Arena, New Orleans,LA. Ace Frehley from KISS opened for them back then. My second show was Maiden England, August 18, 2012, Cynthia Woods Pavillion Center. I was 19 years old when I first saw them live in 88. I got into them during the powerslave era. This current Maiden England tour was absolutely phenomenal! These guys are like a fine wine, getting better with age! There are only 3 bands that I will camp out for tickets for: KISS, Maiden, and the Rolling Stones!
