Post reunion era songs youde like to hear live again or for the first time

Christopher Baines

Educated Fool
Probably been done before but seems a liitle quiet so hear goes:
The Thin Line Between Love and Hate
Montseguer
Paschendale
These Colours Dont Run
Brighter Than a Thousand Suns
The Legacy
When the Wild Wind Blows
The Book of Souls
Empire of the Clouds
The Red and the Black

I love the legacy tours and i know they did a majority post 2000 era set on the first leg of the Final Frontier tour but id love to see some of these played again before they retire

The reunion era is one of my favorites, so I'm not really picky. Would take the entirety of BNW, DOD, AMOLAD, TBOS and SNJ with the exceptions being Paschendale, Speed Of Light, Senjutsu. As for TFF I'd like to hear The Alchemist, Starblind, WTWWB and The Talisman again.

Hear again

The Red and the Black. Just for the instrumental
The Book of Souls. Obviously!
The Wicker Man.
The Longest Day. It was stunning live
The Talisman

First time

Ghost of the Navigator
Paschendale
Rainmaker
Fallen Angel
Out of the Silent Planet

Never performed but would love to hear

The Thin Line Between Love and Hate- top 5 song for me.
New Frontier. This would have been amazing.
The Alchemist
Isle of Avalon
Starblind

Again:
Dance Of Death
The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg
These Colours Don't Run
Ghost Of The Navigator
The Talisman
Where The Wild Wind Blows
Book Of Souls

First Time:
Rainmaker
Starblind
The Alchemist
The Legacy

Live again:

Ghost Of The Navigator
Brave New World
Dream Of Mirrors
The Fallen Angel
Out Of The Silent Planet
Rainmaker
No More Lies
Dance Of Death
Paschendale
Different World
Brighter Than A Thousand Suns
Lord Of Light
The Legacy
Coming Home
Death Or Glory
Stratego

First time:

The Nomad
The Thin Line Between Love And Hate
Montségur
Face In The Sand (I know it's not possible)
The Alchemist (the other short song, Mother Of Mercy will shine live too)
Isle Of Avalon
Starblind
When The River Runs Deep
Shadows Of The Valley
Empire Of The Clouds
Lost In A Lost World
Darkest Hour
The Parchment

I would like to look at this in this kind of way. Most realistic to feature in the future setlist(s):

BNW: Blood Brothers, although Brave New World also has rather good chance, why not even the tour after Future Past.
DoD: Dance of Death
AMOLAD: Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg/ These colours don't run
Final Frontier: El Dorado/Coming Home
BoS: Speed of Light
Senjutsu: WotW

But what I would like to hear (max 1 song per album):
BNW: Dream of Mirrors
DoD: Dance of Death
AMOLAD: These colours don't run
Final Frontier: When the Wild Wind Blows
BoS: The Red and the Black
Senjutsu: The Parchment

Brave New World
Paschendale
Dance Of Death
The Longest Day
The Talisman
Book Of Souls
Hell On Earth

All would be for the first time.

I have so many but this is just a short list :D

Brave New World
Ghost of the Navigator
The Fallen Angel
Out of the Silent Planet
The Thin Line Between Love And Hate
Rainmaker
Pashendale
These Colors Don't Run
The Longest Day
Out of the Shadows
The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg
Lord of Light
Satellite 15....The Final Frontier
El Dorado
Isle of Avalon
Starblind
The Talisman
If Eternety Should Fail
Speed of Light
The Great Unknown
The Book of Souls
Death Or Glory
Senjutsu
Stratego
The Writing On The Wall
Days of Future Past
The Darkest Hour
Hell On Earth

Again :

Rainmaker, Ghost of the Navigator, Paschendale, Journeyman, The Longest Day, If Eternity Should Fall

For the first time :

Age of Innocence, Montesgur, New Frontier, Nomad (maybe they did that once or twice in 2000?)

Do it once just for the trainwreck element :

Empire of the Clouds

You could have just cut and paste every song 2000-2021 dude.

Theyve never played Nomad and yes think Empire would be a trainwreck until about the 7th or 8th night

Well it's not exactly on the top of my wishlist, but I'd never say "no" for The Wicker Man. Dance of Death would be nice too and honestly, I've got nothing against Blood Brothers either, but when it comes to songs I really wish to hear and are, in some ways, something that would sit fairly comfortable to their live set... Ghost of the Navigator, Brave New World and Paschendale come to mind! I loved For the Greater Good of God in 2018, but I don't expect it to be played again... however, I think The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg would be great and it would fit their current live vibe very, very well!

I would LOVE to hear Brighter Than a Thousand Suns, one of my all-time favourite Iron Maiden cuts, but it's more of a pipe dream when compared to most of the previously mentioned songs.

I missed The Book of Souls tour, so I wouldn't mind if they brought in something like If Eternity Should Fail to open the encore or something; imagine Powerslave right after it! Such a good fit. The Book of Souls is a majestic track and I'd love to hear that too, but I'd be somewhat surprised if anything from that album gets played again. As for Senjutsu, I think The Writing on the Wall has a solid chance for that and honestly, I wouldn't mind at all! It's a fantastic tune and truly a live beast. I would also be very happy if Hell on Earth stays around even after the current tour, but having seen a couple of fantastic performances of it already, I'm also ok with something else instead.

Live debuts?
Well, Montségur! What a track! Not that it's actually going to happen, but that song is splendid.

Paschendale and Brighter Than A Thousand Suns.

After that If Eternity Should Fail and The Book Of Souls. I feel especially the latter needs to be brought back at some point. Love the songs with that feel and most of the bands have one... Like Kashmir and Innuendo.
