Post-Maiden Bruce & Adrian band and setlist

A window to the west, a blazing star above
The year is 202X and Nicko’s old bones finally can’t handle the demands of drumming anymore, so he hangs up his hat. The rest of Iron Maiden decides to call it a day rather than trying to replace him.

Bruce and Adrian take this opportunity to put together their own band and go out and tour both of their catalogs of solo material, with a few Maiden songs thrown in as fan service. Who should be in the band, and what should the setlist look like?

Basically, that would be close to the setlist of the 1998 tour + Gods of War, Back From The Edge, Jerusalem, Wasted Years, Reach Out and a couple from ASAP and Psycho Motel (I'm not very familiar with the titles). It would start with "Road To Hell" and end with "Wasted Years". Maybe, "Tush" as a cover.

Line-up:
Second guitar: Roy Z
Bass: Chris Dale
Drums: Joe Lazarus

Let’s try a fair-minded, semi-realistic one first:

20. Tears Of The Dragon

21. Flash Of The Blade
22. Back In The Village
23. Wasted Years

An equal split of songs across their discographies with the Maiden tracks being Bruce & Adrian deep cuts with “Wasted Years” as a crowd pleaser. (Had to throw in a “sun” trilogy, too.)

Bruce sings all the non-Adrian vocal parts in Adrian’s songs, as well as the metalized version of “The Lion”. It would be interesting to hear the Smith/Kotzen stuff with Bruce’s voice in there, and especially hearing what Bruce would choose to do with Mikee Goodman’s parts from the Primal Rock Rebellion songs (I’m guessing a more melodic twist with “Be Quick Or Be Dead” cackling in the rougher parts).

Sounds like an interesting idea, but wouldn’t it come 24 years too late?
On the one hand yes, since their highest solo output was understandably that long ago; but on the other hand no, because both have continued to put out occasional solo work since rejoining Maiden (Adrian moreso than Bruce), and they’d never be able to pull off more than the tiniest of solo tour schedules while Maiden is still active.

If Maiden throws in the towel while Bruce and Adrian still have some active years left, then that might be their only chance to seriously tour their solo work again, which is what inspired the thread. Doing it as a combined band seemed like an interesting thought experiment.
