The simple fact is 10, 100, 1000, 10,000 folks signing a petition --is going to convince Maiden of what? They put 50,000 tickets on sale --& all these fans didn't buy them all! I think, to those organising events, this speaks louder than an online petition. (Just my opinion, but clearly you think otherwise.) Are you suggesting another 25,000 people would have bought tickets, but decided not to bother because it was difficult to get to Twickenham? Come on. If Maiden are every going to play Wembley it might be for their last ever concert. But, right now, there is little evidence they'd sell it out. Who knows, maybe 50,000 at Wembley would still make financial sense & not seem too empty. Still, there is a reason Maiden travelled around the British Isles & didn't just play the O2 for a week (or Wembley) --they wanted to take their music to the fans. (You talk about getting to Twickenham --but you, I assume, speak as someone who lives in, or near, London. What about everyone else in the UK?) Also, if you were just "suggesting" it, that would be fine. But you're not. You're petitioning Maiden to play Wembley.
