Official Tourdates Discussion Thread

Oh, PG, you shouldn't skip this one. I am betting it's the best show they've done in decades. (others can probably verify).

I've looked at ticket prices for other similar shows and as long as you get your tix early, you won't be paying more than $100 for 2.

Columbia isn't anywhere near Ocean City, more like Baltimore..... I would reconsider if I were you..........

Bruce said there are more dates still to be announced for this summer... Probably 1-2 in Quebec and another in Ontario.

SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME -- WORLD TOUR 08'  CANADA SUMMER TOUR DATES:

Tue 03 June - Pacific Coliseum Vancouver, BC
Thu 05 June - Saddledome Calgary, AB
Fri 06 June - Rexall Place Edmonton, AB
Sun 08 June - Brandt Center Regina, SK
Mon 09 June - MTS Centre Winnipeg, SK

Not to be finicky or anything, but that should read Manitoba.

I just hate to think that this tour won't make it's way to St. Louis, Cedar Rapids, Kansas City, Omaha, Wichita, or Indianapolis.  Good God, the Midwest needs a show or two!  These cities are full of metalheads.  To skip over the entire region seems silly.

Back in the 'day', Maiden used to hit all of those towns.  On the AMOLAD tour, they didn't hit any of them, tho.  I had to travel to Chicago then, and will do it now.  I'll go to see them where I can, but I am with you, I do wish there were more shows around.

Thats one thing that I really liked about the latest Rush tour, they hit Chicago, KC, Moline, St Louis... made it great, cause I could wait for the Maiden dates and schedule the Rush around it.

If Maiden hit any of those others, I'd probably get tix to at least two shows...

Does anyone here think they will announce more U.S. dates???? In the press release it says the second and final leg of the U.S. tour....but only 7 dates or so announced? There has to be more dates coming right? I mean they can't call this a full U.S. Tour by only playing out west and up north......I'm going to keep waiting and watching for more on this tour as I have been doing but if this is in fact the last dates in the U.S. then I will be very pissed.

Sorry, dunno bout any more dates.

However, I am super excited!!!  I was just checking my email, and I got a pre-sale offer for the chicago show!!  I can get my tix tomorrow!!!  Woo Hoo!!!!  10 am, and I'm buying them!  So, dunno if i'm supposed to spread this, but I got the heads up from "live nation" and the password to get the presale was 'powerslave'.

I highly doubt more US dates are forthcoming, they really don't have any more room before bumping into the European portion of the tour, and you know they're not going to sacrifice that for more US dates. I too am disappointed the the south and mid-west were pretty well ignored. I think, for instance, that they should have at least done an Atlanta and Kansas City show to kind of centralize things. Oh well....

Edit: I guess they could squeeze some in during April and May but I just don't see it happening.

Shhhhhhhh, I'm going to go try it now. :ninja:
It didn't work.....  :ninja:

I believe the base price for lawn seats to all the auditorium shows is like $27, that's not bad. I'm sure the forum could subsidize getting tickets for you PG.

Oh yeah, hicks from WV ALWAYS win the lottery. You wouldn't know it by driving through the state though.....

That's because the first thing they do is move out of West Virginia.
