I know Ribery is retired but I read that he's discussing a return for the EURO. I don't think 27 goals in 81 games is that good for a player like Benzema.

Being fantastic at a World Cup warrants more than "he was never that great". Benzema plays more as a creator than a target man for France anyway. They used him in a free role in the World Cup, he was usually on the left wing.

Meanwhile Atlético kicks Barça out of the Champions League. Such an awesome team. No team is safe against them.

Incredible. To ditch Dortmund out of the tournament and do it in this fashion. Tip of my non-existent hat to Jürgen Klopp.

They're not in the European Cup :p

(Just nit-picking. The Champions League is the successor of the European Cup. The Europa League is the successor of the UEFA Cup)

Ah well. They can still win a European cup with it (win a European tournament). :)

Mourinho landed Chelsea a championship, but he did more bad for the club than he did good in his second term. Got rid of Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, alienated Eden Hazard. Maybe he has something against Belgians? Sucks because not only would they have a fantastic young core (with Thibaut Courtois as well), they'd also have a natural chemistry because of the national team connection.
