Well, I can say that anti-Chelsea fans are by far the most obnoxious fans I've seen. Regardless of whether Chelsea is doing good or bad, they will always hate the team, the manager, the players, the fans. I'm tired of this shitstorm and I regret to say that this thread is one of the main reasons why I've become less than happy with the board.

On the football subject, I never understood that hate in football as well. I think I brought up the subject when I noticed so much anti-Liverpool comments.
For the rest, I can only hope that the other reasons change for the better for you.

Regardless of whether Chelsea is doing good or bad, they will always hate the team, the manager, the players, the fans.

Why would the "performance" of a team I hate dictate my liking of them? If they do well, I'm mad that they do well. If they don't, I have fun. Simple as that. It's fine to hate teams.

For the record, I didn't hate Chelsea during the time they had different managers.

I don't remember if I specifically called out the Chelsea fans, but my main problem with Chelsea aren't the fans; it's Mourinho because of his outrageous behaviour that needs no more discussion, Diego Costa because he's a cunt (numerous instances of him being needlessly violent, stamping, diving; hell, yesterday he stamped on a steward when retrieving the ball for a corner) and the general deludedness of the staff (those match reports posted earlier). Fans are pretty much lying low at the moment. Anyway, sorry if I offended you or something.

(I admit on calling out Liverpool fans but I don't see any here And either way, I think it's a given that when someone does that it only really applies to hardcore fans, not people like us in this thread who all live far away from the club's country.)

Rivalries make the sport fun. Besides, it's not like I said Chelsea fans are liars or something, I said their supporters are easily overwhelmed at their own stadium. I don't see how this:

Support. 2000 Galatasaray fans out-chanted Chelsea fans the entire match in Stamford Bridge two years ago. That's ridiculous. I've seen Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe fans do the same as well.

Gala, Fener and Beşiktaş fans are among the loudest in the world, but they couldn't do that in Emirates, Old Trafford, Anfield, White Hart Lane, St. James' Park and the other ones they've played at.

Is supposed to be an insult. Especially to someone who doesn't attend the games.

Barely counts as banter? That post is not banter at all. Humor was never the goal there. I hate Chelsea and that's the reasoning. It's naturally one-sided.

If someone posts a complete insult on Arsenal, with no regard for humor, to me, that's completely fine. Hell, even if you insult my local club, Galatasaray, it's still fine. If it's not fine for someone else, that's their problem. I never insulted the fans like Ariana argued. I said their lacklustre support at their own stadium is part of the reason I dislike Chelsea. That's not an insult.

I don't think it's a violation, no. That's why I argue with Arsenal anyway, I don't think it's an offensive statement. There are thousands of posts on the forum that state hatred of something, "hate" in this instance is very mild.

It's not my duty to make the thread a welcoming place. If I'm breaking a forum rule, I expect administration to step in. I don't think I am. Certain people on the forum hate certain bands and certain genres and they state it as such. Is that an offense as well? I don't think it is.

My guess would be that most of the mods, bar Brigs, don't read very much of the content here.

Do they direct hate at the fans of those bands?
