Arsene Wenger seems to have finally figured out the way to use both Mesut Özil and Santi Cazorla in the same lineup to full effect. Cazorla plays in center mid with Coquelin, Ramsey starts on the right wing and Özil starts in the centre at the No. 10 role. Ramsey moves and forms a three man midfield when the ball is lost. It's not ideal but the results are showing a lot of promise. Özil's performance has gone up drastically. Alexis-Özil-Cazorla, when all three are effective, is a trio that's capable of carrying a team to championship.

I don't see anybody challenging City for the title this season but the recent displays are encouraging.

I wouldn't rule out neither United nor Arsenal right now. Solid wins by both today, and we've seen the bottom level of City - bad enough that they may drop plenty more points this season.

Chelsea, though, have had a too bad start to be in the race this season.

Play offs for Euro 2016:

Ireland vs. Bosnia
Ukraine vs. Slovenia
Sweden vs. Denmark
Norway vs. Hungary

The local derby between Sweden and Denmark could be interesting.

Hoping for Bosnia, Ukraine, Sweden and Norway to advance.

Edit: Actually, scratch that. I want Ireland to advance. Bosnia, Ukraine and Sweden advancing would put Turkey in the 4th pot for the championship instead of 3rd.

Milan is somehow still above Juventus :D Hope it stays that way, I have a bet with a friend who's a Juve fan that Milan will finish above them this season.

I sadly can't watch the second half (gotta get up at 7 am tomorrow) but Arsenal-Bayern match is a blinder so far. Gunners have been playing very well, direct/counter-attacking football works wonders for us again. It was clear as crystal but it took such a long time for Arsene to realize it. This team is perfect for the mix of standing off counter-attacking and direct hard pressing football. Stand off and go for counters against better sides, go all out pressing as a team and play direct against worse sides. If Arsene keeps it up and actually bothers to sign a striker, I'm fine with him staying.

Manuel Neuer's save on Theo Walcott's six-yard box header is a candidate for save of the season. It was incredible. And annoying. Easily one of the best saves I've ever seen live.

In a match where the goalkeepers contested for the Man of the Match award, it was a blunder by Neuer that finally gave way to the first goal ...

Classic Arsenal, I bet they are gonna lose in Munich and one of the remaining two games against other two opponents to get eliminated anyway :D

I bet that you'll lose that bet. Arsenal has a way of putting themselves in awful situations, but they also have a way of getting out of those situations. Until the 2nd round at least. :p

CSKA Moscow score after the ref first gives the advantage, CSKA get a chance which DDG is just able to save, then he gives the penalty.

I have no complaints about the decision to give a penalty, it was a clumsy handball by Martial, but can you really give a penalty after first giving the advantage, when the attacking team have had an unhindered finish from a good position?

Oh, and shocking defending. Why on earth, when DDG saves the penalty, are no defenders even close to being there in time to clear it away?

Penalties aside - United are really not good today. Slow passing, little movement. As I write, the first scoring chance of the 2nd half is produced ...!

Edit: Finally some good football from United. 1-1!

Nice win for Galatasaray today. Part of me cheers against Galatasaray because of the club's management, but part of me cheers for them. The dilemma actually helps me watch the games without losing my mind, so that's good. :D
