To be fair, though, Albania have performed way above expectations. They beat Portugal in Lisbon and drew both matches with Denmark.

Well, yes. They have done very well. I just can't bring myself to sympatize with them when they celebrate the idiot who ignited the fire in the game against Serbia. As stated, I think both teams should have zero points after that game.

On football merits alone, they deserve to be where they are.

Oh, and what a twist for the Scottish anthem before the game vs Germany! Bagpipe and rock band!

We (Northern Ireland) are top of our group going into tonight's match.
If we beat Hungary tonight at home. (Belfast) then we will qualify for the Euros for the first time ever.
The green and white army FTW!
"We're not Brazil we're Northern Ireland!"

Watched the entire match. Poland never let up, I think they were going for as many goals as possible to give themselves a better goal difference against Ireland. Gibraltar goalkeeper saved his side from an unfortunate record. And in the end they got their goal.

Late goal for Northern Ireland! This means Finland still have a chance of making the play-off, and it means Northern Ireland are very close to qualifying.

... and Greece still can't win a game in this group.

I hope we beat Albania, then lose to Portugal and that Denmark beats Portugal so that Albania doesn't qualify directly. And after that I hope they get trashed in the playoffs.

Whats peoples opinions on Martin Ødegård here?

The hype has been ALL over the place. Sure hes good, apparently he could choose of all the top clubs. But i seem to be a lil disapointed every time i see him? Will he become the next big thing?

I cant help to think hes a bit overrated. :(

He's only 16. Already has 6 caps. That's pretty much unheard of. Of course, he could bust out, we've had wonderkids like Freddy Adu disappearing into irrelevancy in a short amount of time after much hype. But he's already at Real, if he works hard, he can be special.

I really hope so, we havent had to many great stars from Norway. He did impress big in the Tippeliga. And i Real also has him on there 25 squad for CL? So there has to be something in it, maybe im putting to much in the critizim he got from some Spanish news papers,

He's a young kid, and currently he is learning with some great players. Even if he doesn't make the cut in Madrid, he will probably become one of Norway's best players ever. It's obviously too early to say he'll be miles better than anyone we ever had.

He developed a lot during 2014 alone, from just a talent to regular in Strømsgodset's first team. But the step to Real Madrid's first team is huuuge. I have the impression that Norwegian media have underestimated it, seeing as they make every match he doesn't play for the first team sound like a disappointment. Or they are just click whores who feel they need to write about him because everyone else does.

Back to the Euro qualifiers. Sweden now trailing 0-1 against Austria, while Russia are in the lead against Liechtenstein. As it stands, Sweden will have to go via the play-off to reach the Euros.
