Manchester City sent Matija Nastasic on loan to Schalke - stupid move for them because he's young and better than their center backs bar Kompany, but good move for him.
They also signed Wilfried Bony from Swansea today - great move for Swansea because of the money they got (2.5 times more than they paid Vitesse for him). Although they need a striker now, I heard that they are interested in Serbian striker Mitrovic from Anderlecht, would be a cool move for both sides.

Mangala is absolutely better than Nastasic. He just hasn't gotten used to playing in EPL yet. But I do think City treated Nastasic like crap. Playing Demichelis over him was unacceptable.

So Norwegian wonderkid Martin Ødegaard joined Real Madrid. He's 16. His wages are gonna be £80,000 a week o_O That amouns to something like £4 million a year. For comparison, highest earners in Italian Serie A are Danielle De Rossi from Roma (£5.2 million a year) and Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli (£4.4 million per year). As far as I know, no one else in Italy crosses the £4 million mark.

Real just doesn't care about the money. They get the money they spent back in a short amount of time through merchandising. I heard they got the money they paid for James Rodriguez back in just 2 weeks through shirt sales.

FA Cup madness!

Chelsea lost 4:2 to Bradford City after leading 2:0!

Manchester City lost to Middlesbrough 2:0!

(Relevant because the guy laughing with Mourinho in this gif is Boro's coach Karanka :D)

Now Manchester United's score yesterday doesn't seem so bad :D

Cristiano Ronaldo just got himself sent off on purpose. Tried to punch a guy in the face, ref missed it, so he went ahead and kicked a guy instead to get sent off about a minute later. Interesting.

I guess City regret their trip to Abu Dhabi now. They returned today ... I won't say it caused their defeat, but it cannot have helped them perform better, that much is certain.

As for Chelsea v Bradford: Just ... wow. Bradford have slayed giants before and they do it again.
