City deserved the win, but if it weren't for Smalling's brainfart, United might well have won it. The penalty claims weren't that clear cut in real time. The last one (where Carrick tripped Aguero) particularly difficult since Aguero kept going after the contact and didn't fall until some steps later. Seeing them again in slow motion lets us say that they should have been given.

United's performance with ten men makes me optimistic for the remainder of the season. At least if we can get some defenders back from injury ... Smalling will get a one match ban and be back for Arsenal away.

Liverpool is RESTING players against Real Madrid at Bernabeu

I'll be really disappointed if Real doesn't hammer them 5:0 at least.

Disappointed by Real tonight, the game was so not fun.

What a choke by Arsenal. Not happy for Mitrovic because he's ex-Partizan player, but happy because he's Serbian, but not happy because I like Arsenal... Damn :P

Never before have I felt the amount of embarrasment in a single game of football as I did today. Galatasaray was hammered once again and those absolute morons at Westfalen made me feel ashamed to be a Gala fan. Uncivilized, animalistic douchebags.

Seriously considering abandoning my fandom of the team. Turkish football is corrupt, fans all hate each other, players feed off hatred, the quality of football is lacklustre. There's really no need.

Lord Bendtner not called up for Denmark's game against Serbia, now I'm not sad anymore for not being able to go to the game :D

Gala fans threw torches at Dortmund fans after the team went down 1-4, causing a fire in the stands. Interrupted the game three times by throwing torches on the field.

Latter. Like I said, Turkish football is a shithole, so they're accustomed to doing such stuff. It obviously makes a big scene in a country like Germany, because you know, their football is not a hate-filled shithole but rather a game they enjoy.

I'd argue English football is (or at least was) a hate-filled shithole, but they're a lot stricter about who and what gets into the grounds these days. Season tickets cost so much that nobody would want to risk being banned from matches too.

Turkish Football Federation developed a system where the idea was to identify every person who got into the ground. They developed a card called Passolig, a card you'd use to buy tickets. But they designated the card for one bank only, meaning people who don't own a credit card from that bank cannot use the Passolig system. Result? A massive drop in attendances. Last year Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby attracted 51.000 fans. This year the count was only 32.000.

Also thought it was a dumb move.

Ajax vs Barca tonight:

AJAX: Cillessen, v. Rhijn, Veltman, Moisander, Boilesen, Klaassen, Serero, Andersen, El Ghazi, Sigthórsson, Schöne

FC BARCELONA: Ter Stegen, Alves, Bartra, Mascherano, Alba, Xavi, Busquets, Rakitic, Suárez, Messi, Neymar

Holy cow, these last three names. *makes sign of the cross with shattering teeth*

I hope Milik will be given enough time to do something dangerous.

EDIT:
Half time: Bah, Barca leads because Cillessen blundered, but for the most part of the first half Ajax was the better side! Exciting match, let's hope for more luck in the 2nd half.

Obviously a beginner on the drums but it was cool to watch nonetheless. I like how his channel has zero mentions of him being a footballer.

He forgot his mask!

5. West Ham Utd 10 5 2 3 17 19-14

The Koeman brothers are doing excellent with Southampton! And they only have 5(!) goals against them, a big difference with other clubs.

May all home teams win today!
