Sunderland's goalkeeper these last two games ... poor bastard. The manager should give him two weeks leave and let him hide in a cottage in the Lake District or something

MU-Chelsea, what a game! Not a win, but a great result (1:1 for uninformed) for MU considering their current state.

For me, much better game than El Classico yesterday. Mostly because Barcelona's defence is on the level of QPR. No idea how they managed not to concede a goal for 8 games, probably because Spanish teams crap themselves when they see a Barcelona/Real/Atletico jersey.

It was also very different from the corresponding fixture last season, where both teams (especially Chelsea) seemed very happy with not conceding. This time around, it was clear that Mourinho thought United were there for the taking. At the same time, United managed to step up and defend much better than earlier.

No, it's because the teams in Spain don't have the ability to press up Barcelona's possession game and when they do get the ball, they don't have the attacking speed to make use of it. Barcelona simply dominates the ball and that helps them get clean sheets. It doesn't work against elite teams and elite teams are able to punish their defensive shortcomings.

Cesare Prandelli has ruined Galatasaray. Another 0-4 defeat, this time against Dortmund. And he comes out and says "We're more interested in winning the title in our domestic league". GTFO

We just lost 4-0 to a team that had only one win leading up to the game. We're definitely more interested in the domestic league, it takes more effort to lose 4-0 to Başakşehirspor than losing 4-0 to Dortmund.

After this round, this is the situation at the top of Serie A o_O

(Milan in 3rd place :nana:)

Smalling is a fucking idiot. Other than that, good performance despite the defeat, considering all the injuries. Can't fault Van Gaal when pretty much all defenders in the first team got injured or sent off at least once, and it's only been 2.5 months into the season and 11 games. Rafael, Shaw, Jones, Evans, Smalling, Rojo, Blackett and McNair all got injured at least once... Some are still out.
