NOW PLAYING

I love Steve's way of writing, it's always interesting with different structures and is not predictable. His epics are always with tempo changes and I noticed that since the reunion (and even in the 80's) he is not repeating the choruses that much - this happens when he writes with Bruce and Adrian or only with Janick, Adrian or Dave. Some examples: songs with no chorus (POTO, TTAL, ROTAM, DOD, WTWWB, Parchment), songs with no repetition of the chorus (Hell On Earth, TRATB, Legacy), songs with only two repetition of the chorus (DOTC, TBOS, IOA).
^ I forgot to mention other interesting approaches to Steve's writing style:

- The chorus comes a little later. In songs like Talisman, FTGGOG, Face In The Sand, NPFTD.
- Two choruses. In songs like Hell On Earth, TRATB, Talisman, Longest Day, TTLBLAH, Nomad, GOTN.

And I love that we have songs with more emphasis on the instrumental parts (Hell On Earth, Parchment, SOTC, TTAL) and more on the vocals (Talisman, WTWWB, BTATS, Paschendale, DOM).
