I preordered the album the first days after announcement to the online music and books shop and they have sent an email yesterday billing for the album. They will sent the album between 3rd and 6th sept.

Anyway I will wait for the right moment to listen to it. I think I can wait a little more after all this time.

I think playing with Kotzen tilted H in a good bluesy direction. Nice to hear it on the new album. Davey still plays with some blues, now we just need Janick to get on board. Someone send that man an Albert King record.

One reviewer of TWOTW on Youtube pointed out that Adrian’s solo sounded like he’d been listening to Bonamassa a lot. I had thought the same thing, but I’m biased, because I’m a Bonamassa fan. Bonamassa is a Maiden fan btw, so it’s a game of give and take. And of course there‘s Kevin, who produces both Maiden’s and Joe’s solos, so...

Fair enough!

I must admit I'm a bit torn on blues influences. I don't like the way blues or jazz treat harmony. It's alien to me, having grown up in Scandinavia with severe tonal music as the only thing commonly experienced. Most blues sound atonal / dissonant to me still.
