I must admit I'm a bit torn on blues influences. I don't like the way blues or jazz treat harmony. It's alien to me, having grown up in Scandinavia with severe tonal music as the only thing commonly experienced. Most blues sound atonal / dissonant to me still.

Edit: I've found some reminiscences to The X factor, Brave New World and The Final Frontier. It requires another listen but I like it. Sonically is much better than the previous albums since Brave New World.

Really? Even Marie Fredrikson from Scandinavia had some blues...
