Iron Maiden - Afraid to Shoot Strangers (Stockholm 1995)
Nigel Green did a better job mixing live recordings in "Steve's Barn" than what Tony Newton does today, that's for sure!
Yes, it was. Mindslip (getting old, I was born that year ) . They played Cirkus in Stockholm as well though. Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet gave The X Factor a -1/5 rating that year (a new invention), but the gigs, albeit rather small, were sold out.Wait, Stockholm? Wasn't it Gothenburg? (Göteburg)
Blood On the World's Hands and The Aftermath was released from the same gig on the Angel and the Gambler singles
And still the best record sabbath ever put outBlack Sabbath - Heaven and Hell (album) (vinyl rip)
This is a completely different listening experience. It sounds less thick and more like a normal 80's metal album (Melissa or British Steel are good comparisons).
