Listening to this gem of an album!

James Dean Bradfield - Even in Exile (2020)

Second solo album by the Manic Street Preachers' singer/guitarist, a concept album about the poet and activist Victor Jara, tortured and murdered in 1973 by Pinochet's fascist regime, with lyrics by the poet and playwright Patrick Jones (Nicky Wire's older brother). The album has a bit of everything: prog, folk, alternative rock... Very different to his first solo album but great nonetheless.

As far as Bon Scott-era AC/DC goes, for decades I've been listening to Dirty Deeds and Highway to Hell and (to a lesser degree) High Voltage.
Powerage doesn't have any songs that get radio airplay so I never really listened to it until now.
And I'm loving it. I think I need a deep dive into all of the Bon Scott era records.

EDIT: What a turdfest! Terrible. Like all the worst excesses of The Key trilogy, but turned up to 11. “Power” is by far the best song on offer here, but the rest is tripe aside from a small handful of decent instrumental parts. What a disappointment.
