This is the best SX album in my opinion. It doesn't really have an Odyssey or an Accolade, but every song is just extremely good. Pretty crazy comeback after the flop Iconoclast.

This was how I felt about it back when it came out, it was very close to my favourite record of theirs. Nine years on, I mostly don't return to anything off the album bar Legend and - sometimes - Charon... and silly and one-note as it is, I enjoy Iconoclast more as a whole, though I realise that once again I must hold the controversial opinion.

Nah, I get you in a way (not the Iconoclast bit, you're insane :D). I don't feel the urge to hear it often too, despite how hooky it is. It doesn't try to touch the stars like the classic albums did and it's pretty forgettable as a result. You think of SX you think of ambitiousness, not necessarily the long tracks, nothing in Underworld is as memorable as the solos in Fallen or the vibe of Wicked. On the other hand, they really nailed this album, more than the classics I dare say. And it's not like it's cookie-cut either.

Charon and Legend - definite highlights.
