The 90s were not good for them, with albums of decreasing quality. However, they rose again like a phoenix in the 00s, when each album they released was better than the previous one.

Acción directa (2000) was a return to what they did best. Bésame (2002) was a continuation, but with a metal sound at times. Hombre mate hombre (2004), with a new drummer (Ibi Sagarna, now with Leize) is great too, and was followed by some great live albums (Latidos y Mordiscos; the former features a conventional live show - I was at the gig they recorded for the album and DVD - and the latter some superb acoustic versions of their songs) and a box set of rarities (25 años de rocanrol https://es.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/25_años_de_rocanrol).

La tierra está sorda (2009), their concept album about the fascist repression during the dictatorship that followed the Spanish Civil War (based on true stories) is a masterpiece.

If you like the band, you will probably enjoy those albums.

@The_7th_one Following the end of the tour supporting La tierra está sorda, the band took a break of a year. To everyone’s surprise, given that el Drogas (main composer and lyricist, as well as the band’s mastermind) was not so sure about re-grouping so early, the rest of the band decided to continue without him!

The album is good, but the absence of such a charismatic member is evident. Barricada decided to call it a day after the tour supporting the album, releasing a live album called Agur (Goodbye in Basque).

Sadly, following Boni’s death from cancer, a reunion of the classic line-up will never be possible. :(

Thanks for the info! I'll try them. To be honest I've never liked the Spanish bands, except Baron Rojo or Muro with the late 80's and early 90's bands like Fuck Off,Crom or Legion ( All disbanded bands after a couple of albums), Barricada or Los Suaves.

This song, which I do like, was never played live.
Was a good show but on US leg, only Paul's songs from Crazy Nights were played.
Gene's were heavier and wish I had seen them played live.

Listening to it a second time tonight, I like it. Pretty good. The only time I saw KISS live was on 10/4/00 at Mohegan Sun in CT. Was maybe less than 30 feet away from Ace Frehley. Great show. Bought a t-shirt featuring the Dressed To Kill album cover. Have hardly worn it since mainly because of how much I liked the show. Shirt is still in great condition, btw:)
