To continue with James Dean Bradfield as a solo artist, his second album. Great concept album based on the life and death of the Chilean activist, singer and poet Víctor Jara, executed by the fascist regime of Pinochet.
This is my new Moonlapse Vertigo moment - a song I didn't notice/disliked/used to almost skip each time suddenly jumped somewhere very near the top. Seriously, it might be currently my favourite song off Nightfall.
Given the theme of the song, I'm surprised it's such a cool fast rocker in a classic heavy metal style. Even the lyrics lol. The melodic chorus saves it. The instrumental section is strong too. I wonder if Peter Baltes was part of the writing team for the album...
