The one Maiden album we should never listen while cooking.
Senjutsu is made for raw food consumption; tartare, sashimi, avocado.. Fresh ocean fish, a good knife or sword, soy, wasabi, is all you should ever need
Classic record, classic song. So many great songs inside and the best cover of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" there is. One of the great records of alt. rock
And another diamond from 1996, UK Indie & beloved Tindersticks, a group of constant and superior quality. This is from my best album, their third, Curtains. Though pretty much everything from them is good.
Never met him, so can't say I know him.
But I see what you mean - I saw the video posted above on the French music TV program MCM back in the early 2000s.
That's when I discovered Noir Désir as well btw.
And yeah, great artist indeed.
Stumbled upon this while trying to use Google to search the Bandcamp site for folk metal albums that aren’t also tagged for black or death metal (hoping to dodge extreme vocals). Not sure I could call it folk metal (though it dabbles in it here and there), but it’s epic viking metal from Germany with almost all clean vocals, and the occasional growls are on the less annoying end of the spectrum. I get some Bathory vibes from it.
This album came out in 2018 and they had a follow-up Traces in 2022.
