A platinum album opener a true hidden gem? Sure dude. It's also on the successful Priest...Live! album and video.
Out in the Cold is one of the most visible metal songs of the 1980s.
That's not quite the point that Foro was making.
But Foro was highlighting that the song in question is the opening track from a US Platinum album. A gem, for sure, but not hidden very well.A hidden gem is a song that is not played live by a band (or a few times only) and a lot of fans like it IMO. A song rated highly by the fans.
''Out In The Cold'' is this. ''Judas Be My Guide'' for Maiden, for example.
I think the song Kal was referring to was 'Out in the Cold' and Foro said the album it comes from is a US Platinum album.Which album? "Turbo Lover" opens Turbo.

I get that, but Foro also referred to it as an "opener to a platinum album". I guess the album is Turbo, but like I said, OITC doesn't open Turbo, "Turbo Lover" does.
If it opens another album, fair enough, but I'm a little lost.

Ok. Perhaps Foro was wrong then. I'm no Priest expert, but I thought 'Out in the Cold' was a fairly well known song (mainly because I know it).The album Turbo is indeed platinum in US, but ''Out In The Cold'' opens Priest...Live! live album and to my knowledge that album never went platinum anywhere.

That was a mistake indeed. It is the opener of the live album and video (and tour). Still, that was a Gold album in the US. One of the most known hard rock / metal albums of the eighties (and also in the history of metal).I get that, but Foro also referred to it as an "opener to a platinum album".
