NOW PLAYING

W.A.S.P. - first 5 albums (the classics) and some other songs (Still Not Black Enough, Skinwalker, Let It Roar, Wasted White, Heaven's Hung, Babylon's Burning, Scream)

Their material for the most part is underrated - a great blend between metal and rock. Some interesting stuff too. Ofc not every song is a winner, but almost all of them are enjoyable. The debut, Crimson Idol (special album from them) and The Headless Children are their peak. The choruses really work. Btw, the drum sound on the 1992 album is so good. Blackie is the soul, great voice. Wild Child is still one of my all-time favorite songs.

The listen is such a ride. :rocker:

Today my long drive for an in-state business meeting was:

There:
Killers (entire album)
TNotB (entire album)

And back again:
Piece of Mind (entire album)
Powerslave (entire album) — I sat in my car in the driveway an extra five minutes to finish listening to RotAM

Not a drive I’d want to take every day but no complaints about its soundtrack.
