NOW PLAYING

I´m sure @Azas can come up with a superior AI version.
I agree. I’d have to check the sleeve again, but I think Yngwie’s child bride Amberdawn was responsible for the purple and green “supervillain meets gay pride” designs for the covers of The Seventh Sign and Magnum Opus.

That said, those two albums with Michael Vescera are probably his tightest and most focused rock albums since Marching Out, and I come back to them more often than most of the others. I was listening to Magnum Opus because its leadoff track “Vengeance” was a clear inspiration for the opening of Symphony X’s “Smoke And Mirrors” (recently featured in the GMSC), which came out a few years later.

Now can you recreate the actual Magnum Opus cover design via AI, but looking better? Gotta keep the purple and green, and the sword in the pedestal!

AI completely ignores 'Yngwie Malmsteen + sword on pedestal, or on the stone'. I mean, if you have a guitar, there's no need for the sword, righht? And vice versa.

Van Morrison has recorded some superb music over the years, but I think this era might be my favourite. A great live show from Montreux recorded in 1980 that I never get tired of watching!
