Really interesting to hear Mustaine playing and singing backup on this, and to hear Hetfield singing more melodically on these songs, almost with a Mercyful Fate feel. I think I mostly prefer these versions to the Kill 'Em All versions, despite the crummy production.

Never heard The Mechanix played by Metallica before, actually I thought that Metallica’s version was The Four Horsemen even when Mustaine was there.

The look of the Manics in that picture is quite close to that of secondary school teachers in the UK, hence the play on words with the band's name from the original Twitter message.

My reference to myself as a teacher, rather than a preacher, is because I am an academic. A bit obscure, I know!
