Sounds a lot like Sacrilege, or the much underrated Death Evocation, crust meets thrash. Love the mid tempo sound of this stuff. Very good.

Thanks! I do like it, and it reminds me of Nuclear Assault a lot for some reason.
Nuclear Assault meets Bathory even, at some points.

reminds me of Nuclear Assault a lot

And thank you for introducing me to Sacrilege.
Had never heard of them before, I'm ashamed to admit, and I think I see now where lots of Nuclear Assault seems to come from.

Sacrilege is awesome! I haven't done my due diligence and fully dove into them but this album has been a weekly listen for 3 years now:

There's something so primal about Sacrilege's first album. FIRMLY between the up and coming thrash sound of the 80's and UK crust. It hits a "sweet spot" only a handful of other bands I've found have. Maybe it's something in the drums, but this kind of music was really made for dancing. Great guitar tone and riffs too.
