Helloween - The Dark Ride
Well, the first half of it, didn't have time to get past If I Could Fly... Not great imo. Mr. Torture is the only one I kind of like so far.

Iron Maiden - Senjutsu
I liked the first disc a lot more this time, especially the title track. Still think The Time Machine is pretty bad though. And I zoned out for the umpteenth time during The Parchment. One year later, I definitely love the album a lot more!

That's unfortunate, I think it's a fantastic album. Escalation 666 and Mirror Mirror are the only fillers on it imo. Mr. Torture is one of their top songs.

Yeah, I recall Mirror Mirror having some cool parts but those two stood out as particularly uninteresting. Will have to check if the second half has more to offer.
Gambling with the Devil is the other album I've heard, and that one has at least two gems in between a lot of meh. (Well, in between is probably the wrong word considering they're the bookend tracks...)

I only like ''Mr. Torture'', ''All Over The Nations'', ''If I Could Fly'', ''Salvation'' and the amazing title track from this album. The bonus song ''Deliver Us From Temptation'' should have been in the album! All of these songs have great choruses (''The Departed (Sun Is Going Down)'' too).
