Edguy - Mandrake (2001)

After it was released, I had an impression, that this album is Edguy's answer to The Chemical Wedding. Somewhat similar soundwise, songs as 'Tears of a Mandrake', 'Golden Dawn', 'Jerusalem', 'Pharaoh' clearly echoes themes on Bruce's album. Overall, as an album, it's my favourite of theirs.

This is their best album. ''Tears Of A Mandrake'' and ''Pharaoh'' are two of the best songs in the power metal imo.

The jester on the cover is a tribute to the Accident Of Birth album, I guess.
