When was the "Intro" omitted from releases? Granted, the last version I have is a Castle Records release from the '90s.Iron Maiden - Powerslave
For Christmas I got the 2015 remaster, so the intro to Powerslave is actually there!
The 1998 remaster moves the intro to Powerslave (the laughing section) to the end of Back In The Village. When was the "Intro" omitted from releases? Granted, the last version I have is a Castle Records release from the '90s.

Ah. Ok. Just looked to see what version I have and it is from 1995. Wow. Can't believe it has been that long. Oh well. Thanks to you I listened to Powerslave againThe 1998 remaster moves the intro to Powerslave (the laughing section) to the end of Back In The Village.
Thoughts?
I’m not really a Mastodon guy in general, but the screamy vocals are almost nonexistent here, and the songwriting and musicianship are great. Certainly one of the best of 2021.Thoughts?
Probably true, but aside from the GMAC, the last time I had tried to listen to Mastodon was over 15 years ago.I mean they haven't used harsh vocals regularly in about 15 years apart from 1-2 songs here and there.
What happened with the original version with Ralph Scheppers? I don't like this one sang by HansenGamma Ray - Dream Healer
One of the band's best songs imo.
This is a re-recorded version (with Kai on vocals) from the compilation album Blast From The Past. Kai is one of my favorite vocalists and songwriters and I prefer these old songs with him on vocals, although I like Ralph's voice. What happened with the original version with Ralph Scheppers?
