Since first days of this year I've listened a lot of 2021 new releases including classical, pop, metal, jazz, funk music… This is the album No. 250 and still counting. Next week I will post my TOP 20 or TOP 40 favorites.
Earlier today, I was listening to James Dean Bradfield's solo album inspired by Victor Jara
Powerful lyrics, like on the opening track Recuerda:
Recuerda when they come to your door
With their laws and their guns
When they take your daughters
And lead away your sons
Recuerda Thatcher Nixon Pinochet
How the land of the free
Disappeared those who would not obey
In the name of liberty
What was once lost
We will find again
What is true will
Will always transcend
Cofiwch when they drowned a community
When they buried a school
When they silenced a language
When there's so much to lose
Songs that welcome
Songs that warn
For a future
That is yet to be born
Recuerda
Remember
Recuerda
Remember
