Is it an explosion of seminal new music? Is his DNA all over the album? The Lucid - The Lucid (2021)
(Ellefson Project)
Destiny is my favorite album of Saxon.
I bought Unleash The Beast in 1998. The following year I bought The Eagle Has Landed. I didn't care for the latter so I got rid of it. At the time I was buying/listening to a lot of bands from Europe that I had never heard of before(and a few I have such as Helloween). So I lost interest. Was more into Dark Tranquility,Helloween,In Flames, Amorphis Emperor, Satyricon, and Enslaved just to name a few. I will start going through Saxon's back back catalog to see what I've missed.I find that surprising as they’re very consistent. Usually if you like one Saxon album you’ll probably like most of them. Unleash the Beast is very strong though. Love The Thin Red Line and Cut out the Disease
Such a great album. Been a fan since it came out.
