Have fun is all I can say! Both bands have very large (but also very good) discographies. So there's plenty to sink your teeth into! Out of the two Gentle Giant is probably the harder act to get "into" but worth it!

I think Steven Wilson even did a mix of this. He's always done great stuff. Can't say how much better than the original it is though.

Three Friends album is a personal favourite of mine. It's from the same year as Octopus (but earlier) and their first concept album.

Always loved this album, now totally reappreciating its greatness with the blemishes removed. Their heaviest-hitting album both musically and lyrically, with some amazing interplay between the instruments.

This was my introduction to Rush. My uncle (who doesn´t have a country place or a Red Barchetta btw) copied this on tape for my nephew but he didn´t like it so he gave me the tape. I remember listening to it on my walkman on the train on a hot day in july in 1998.
2112 slays the album version.
