They certainly don't drink coke...at all!

Just got Football Manager 2006 for christmas. Really good game, and definitely an improvement on the last Championship Manager.

Also got Civ.IV, but it's not working on my computer at the moment!! [!--emo&--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/mad.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'mad.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

You need the patch. My game didn't work either, until I patched it.

However, the official servers are very busy (from all the people who got Civ 4 for Xmas). So here's what you do:
Go to www.civfanatics.com, look for a link to a news item about the version 1.52 patch.
That news story will have a list of mirror servers. Download it from a mirror and run the exe.

After I did that, my game worked fine. It seems very interesting, but I've just barely started playing. As with previous Civ games, there are so many choices to make that I'm still learning what's in there.

I've been playing NHL 91, 92, 93 and 94 on my comp emulator hehe. I LOVE those games, I'm considering getting a PS2 only to get FIFA 2006 and the NHL games of course [!--emo&:D--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/biggrin.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'biggrin.gif\' /][!--endemo--] just that makes it worth it. And there are a couple of other games that have peaked my curiousity.

I'm still playing NHL 2005, leading my Montreal Canadiens towards their second Stanley Cup. I traded away my entire defensive core except one man (Markov) and I've done some other switching about...

I'm playing that sometimes, it's really pathetic if you look at it from a distance.

I got "Buzz", the music quiz game for the PS2. It's alright and the multiplayer is a real laugh but the repetitive nature of the monotonous set up screens and on-screen dialogue take away from a great game. The categories are also a bit restricted with only 2 different types of questions, "old" and "new". Popular music really sucks and this drawback restricts what could have been an amazing game.

A PC version should be made to play online with others. Patches for different genres would be great as more specific quizzes could be manufactured.

That would have been a great idea. A death metal quiz! "Which song is that? Is it A: Deadest Of The dead? B: Necromaniac? C: Totally Fucking Dead? or D: In The Name Of Gore?"

I used to like that. The best was the 01/02 version but the 03/04 kicked ass aswell. I eventually got bored of it as it became very repetitive and I could never find online games. I was too lazy to work out how to join a game however I hosted a few games for my friends, they connected by entering my IP address or something.

Is it still difficult to enter network games? I got Football Manager last year but it's just not the ame. CM has gone downhill aswell since Sports Interactive have left. If the old team was brought back I would probably buy the next game.

It's pretty much the same format as Championship Manager (the last one I had was CM4), but better developed and easier to navigate. Football Manager's designed by the same guys that used to do CM, so I don't know what's happening to that now.

As for online games on it, I haven't tried yet. It doesn't seem to me the ideal game for playing online.

It's Sports Interactive that used to make CM and are now making FM. They are the brains behind the game but Eidos providee us with easy to navigate screens and easy on the eye features.

Sega replaced Eidos to make FM and I can't stand the navigation you must go through. If you brought together the processing and statistic sorting of Sports Interactive, and the aesthetically pleasing quality of Eidos, the perfect game would be made once again.

True, but it is quite addictive!

I like shoot 'em up sort of games. I've been playing many games of this sort over the years like Doom 1 & 2, Quake 1 & 2, this good old Duke Nukem, Blood 1 & 2, Half-life etc...
I just got Quake 4. Does anybody knows this one? Is it good?
Besides, I also play Age of Empires et that type of games. But my favorite games are "kill 'em all"-like... [!--emo&B)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/cool.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'cool.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Right now I'm mostly playing Guild Wars. Guild Wars is an MMORPG like Everquest and World of Warcraft but without the monthly fees.

I started playing Star Wars: Galaxies this month, but I quickly put it back in the shelf. Back to good ole Counter Strike [!--emo&:)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/smile.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'smile.gif\' /][!--endemo--]
