Alright, well seeing as there is already topics for most of the other media devices, I thought we may aswell have a decent video game topic

The games I have been playing lately are:

Resident evil 4- An amazing game, great for reviving a dead series

and

Kingdom Hearts- not enough people even consider this game because it is slightly disney orientated, which is disapointing because this is a great game, sure you play along side Donald Duck and Goofy, but that doesnt stop it being good....does it? how about you guys (who actually play games) what have you been playing

I'm not very big on computer games, but I used to play Championship Manager a lot when I was younger. Nowadays the only game I play is MOHAA multiplayer on the PC. An old game, and very simple, but an absolute classic in my eyes.

I heard this cool melody by a guy named Dvorak the other day, I'm still looking for the video game it came from [!--emo&:P--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/tongue.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'tongue.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

I'm sad, I know...

you're sad? I've racked up 130 hrs of BF2 in the past 6 months, which is pretty massive, considering how much time I spend at work/generally not being home:
[img src=\'http://img.tehsig.com/usr_6067/tpl_0/image.jpg\' border=\'0\' alt=\'user posted image\' /]

I also play loads of Mario Party and Mario Kart on the Gamecube when I have the lads over for a bit of binge drinking. I recently played Zelda:OCT, Eternal Darkness and RE4 as well.

Every once in a while I play Medal of Honour: Pacific Assault, FEAR, Black & White 2 and a few others on the PC, but BF2 really has become somewhat of an obsession [!--emo&:(--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/sad.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'sad.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

I'm not very fond of BF 2, so i'm still playing BF 1942 and the expansions. FEAR a little now and then and perhaps some star wars game a few times per year. Call of duty one and two and "Zelda, A link to the past" (a real classic).

Most frequently played these days: Civilization II (2, two, deux, zwei, due). There still isn't a game that can beat it.

Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, Age of Empires 3 (trial), sometimes Fable and previously World of Warcraft. Gladius is also nice.

Soldier of Fortune is a nice game, it's more than just a shooter where you have to shoot puppets down. One time you need to sneak through a train station without the alarm being ringed. The guards can't even gulch or you'll get caught (Hit them unconcious with your US SOCOM and then some face surgery with a knife), guess where I'm stuck now.

I just looked for AoE 3, I think I´m going to buy the Collector´s Edition, for 15 euro extra at a certain site (At which that is the normal price in store) it comes with a 210-page book ´The Art of Empires´

Im playing it on ps2 aswell...I completed it the other week, the ending was very devil may cry- Trying it again on normal now though, then hard

I take it then you have an xbox 360. I left it too late to order it and will have to wait a while after christmas. I suppose I could buy a photo of one on ebay for $400. Quoted for truth. I haven't played it in a while though, but I might download Freeciv and have a few rounds [!--emo&:)--][img src=\'style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/smile.gif\' border=\'0\' style=\'vertical-align:middle\' alt=\'smile.gif\' /][!--endemo--]

Awsome game (haven't played it in a few years though...).

Soul Caliber 3, lots of Madden (like usual), and Final Fantasy Tactics. I'd have to say I'm more of a social gamer than anything else. It's hard for me to find the time to sit down by myself for a few hours and play games. I'm not really into PC stuff. I can barely type with two fingers, let alone contol a mouse and all these keys.

I finished Prince of Persia : The Two Thrones a couple of weeks ago. Great game, really. It takes all the best things from the first (the story, the ambiance) and the best things from the second (mainly, the combat system) to create one great game.

After that, I finally completed Resident Evil 4 on professonial mode after a break of acouple of months and now I'm replaying Tales of Symphonia.

Bah, I still prefer Alpha Centauri to any Civilization game but I haven't played that one. The first is err... a little err... primitive and the third isn't that great.

There is still a couple of game I want to buy, mainly Fire Emblem, Battalion Wars and Baten Kaitos but I don't have that much money to spare right now :\

Edit:

Where have you been these past years??? Resident Evil was far from dead when the fourth came out.

The first Prince of Persia is a great game. I like how the main character talked to himself as if he was narrating... himself. Haven't played the others though. I didn't even know there was a 3rd one. Didn't the first one just come out 2 years ago?

World of Warcraft destroys lives. I have a friend who is addicted to this game and received a round 0 on his courses this year. That's right. 0.

I've been playing a lot of N64, specifically Goldeneye. We have a big tv in our lounge with a 64. The end result is brutal combat.

Call of Duty comp multiplayer is amazing.

The original Prince Of Persia has the best and most realistic animations ever. Bar none.
